I’ve heard countless stories about the infamous cable black box. I’m not sure if they’re illegal, but I know a good ol’ antenna is legitimate. With today’s cable advertising boasting how you can save tons of money by adding on every additional service (save money by spending more money), it’s about time we’re reminded of the simple economy of an antenna.

I may be what the Dutch call “frugal,” but why not spend $10 - $40 bucks on a one-time charge, and get the basic channels plus a few more for free? After all, one of the best ways to make money, is to save money. Have you ever added up the total expenses of your cable service for a year?
