Maybe it’s because my cars have all been handed down by my old man, but I’ve never worried about my car getting jacked. Honestly, I’m usually more worried about the inside contents getting stolen, such as all my precious CD’s, which I’m too cheap to back up.

Besides, there only about 34,000 to 50,000 cars jacked annually (Los Angeles alone had 7,187 incidents in 1992). The only reason I’m writing a post about a car alarm system is because, in a past life, I used to be an insurance agent, and know that you can get a recurring discount on your auto insurance for hardwired car alarms. So, jack up your car’s security before you get jacked again by insurance premiums.
