I just recently finished reading David Sedaris’ Me Talk Pretty One Day, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It brilliantly covers Sedaris’ personal, humorous attempts at a wide variety of “careers,” his relationships and his consciously peculiar view on the world. Or, perhaps he has similar views, but none of us ever have the courage to admit it.
His writing makes for a wonderful read in part because he’s absolutely fearless in sharing many things about himself that most of us would simply cower from doing. He should most definitely be applauded for his extremely entertaining honesty.
