Here’s an auction for an absolute classic — the Alfa Romeo. The Italians car manufacturer has been producing classy cars since 1910. A.L.F.A is actually an acronym for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili (Lombard Automobile Factory, Public Company). This manufacturer has a rich history in racing and has consistently carried that over in its street cars.
This is an auction for a stellar 1985 Alfa Romeo Graduate convertible with a hard top. It only has 53,000 miles, and is claimed to be in excellent condition.

Chris Craft is the only boat manufacturer that I can name by memory. Ever since I can remember, my mom would always gush on about these wooden-hulled boats. If you’ve got the cash for it, a beauty like this 1962 Chris Craft would make for an ideal Mother’s Day gift.
Interestingly enough, Chris Craft was founded by Christopher Columbus Smith. He built his first wooden boat in 1874 when he was 13 years old. It’s got to feel good when your company lasts over 100 years old. Of course, you probably wouldn’t be around to see it.

Ethanol is produced by bacteria that ferment and break down carbohydrate sugars. No, you can not run this car on Southern Comfort. A new study found that a gallon of ethanol gas can be produced from corn with 95 percent less petroleum than producing a gallon from fossil fuels. Ethanol has also shown to be more energy efficient than fossil-fuel based gasoline and 95 percent free of greenhouse gas emissions.

For those of you who didn’t know, the title references one of the greatest, most classic comedies of all time, Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs. I only recently discovered that Vespa is a brand of scooter, so the movie reference makes a lot more sense to me now. I love obtaining little background nuggets years later!

Apparently, this bird would take quite a bit of cash to get her airworthy, so she’d be relegated to sittin’ pretty in your backyard, in front of your business as an attention grabber or as the best target ever for shooting practice.
Jokes aside, depending on your business niche, this helicopter actually could be a pretty cool way to bring in business. Or hell, you could make this thing your new store front — how’d ya like to buy coffee from a guy in a helicopter?

Watch it — the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 has finally hit the streets. As part of another nonprofit auction, the Victory Junction Gang is donating all profits to this auction to children with chronic medical conditions.
So the waiting is over since the 2006 Detroit auto show, and the 2008 Challenger is now fully ready for the road. There have only been 6,400 of these bad boys produced, so you should try and get your hands on it while you can! Plus, this is a rare opportunity to bid on the SRT8, the max-muscle version, before the other versions have been released.
